It's that time again. The annual meeting is soon upon us, and there is much to discuss. There are updates on the planned renovation, as well as the required and extensive repairs to 413 and 415.

Again, the annual meeting is also the most important of the year, as this is the meeting at which we vote for the next year's tenant board. This great experiment of ours only works because we run ourselves. Our rents are cheap because of volunteers who agree to maintain, and work to improve the quality of our collective living situation. And only if the greater populous participates in the process. So come! See how the sausage is made. Vote! Or run if you so choose. (Also if you walk by the window while the meeting is in progress we totally see you.)

If you can't make the meeting but still want to participate, every tenant was mailed a proxy form. Simply ask someone to represent you, sign and hand them your proxy, and your voice will still be heard.

And if none of this is enough to sell you, there will also be drinks! (And food.) Come have a beer/wine/soda, slam some tapas, and make awkward conversation with that guy you pass on the street sometimes. (Hint: It's probably Jeremy.)
