The New York City Democratic primary is on September 12th. If you are registered, be sure to vote. There are several candidates endorsed by the HDFC Coalition, that are strongly supportive of HDFCs and back a regulatory agreement that is fair to all.

"Council Members Mark Levine, Corey Johnson, Ben Kallos, Margaret Chin, Ydanis Rodriguez, Bill Perkins, Helen Rosenthal and Antonio Reynoso have stood up for the accomplishments of HDFC shareholders, and are now seeking re-election. Also, candidate Carlina Rivera has expressed support in the race on the LES to replace Rosie Mendez. They recognize how HDFC cooperatives have been an anchor and catalyst for communities to save their buildings and their neighborhoods, and that HDFCs enable people of all backgrounds to be able to live affordably in New York City. Now it's our turn to support those who have supported us on Tuesday Sept 12!"
